Crowflight flinched at the contact. He hadn't had a cat touch him in 3 moons. The three moons ago when his brother die. He looked away from her suddenly uncomfortable. He stood swiftly after she stop speaking moving away from her and the comforting touch. His tail flicked in annoyance? It was hard to tell, he seem to be mumbling searching for lost words. Trying to gather them up before he spoke towards the caring she-cat.
"Hallowwisp, you can't help me. Your wasting your time on something useless. I'm sorry you feel whatever reason to help me but its not something you want to do....I'll only hurt you."
Something was broken inside of him it was clear and his frantic plead add to the fact. His eyes never left the ground though almost as if he had never seen the ground before. Whatever was eating at him it was obvious it got through into his head. Crowflight knew that Hallowwisp was a kind soul but trying to pry into his mind would only get her hurt. He might hurt her in such a manner it might cause her to go back to being antisocial. He didn't wish that, he just wanted her happy although he would never dare show that.

Hollowwisp knew Crowflight was just trying to protect her, and his secrets. Whatever they may be. So when the tom flinched away from her touch, she didn't get mad, or even sad. And when he spoke, she didn't let his words hurt. She just smiled, and shook her head.
"Crowflight, your not useless. You may think so, but I don't. I think you just don't want to let anyone know your secrets. Whatever they may be. And I will respect that. Because I care about you. But just remember, that i'm here when you feel like telling me. Because, I know it will make you feel a lot better once you get that off your head. I'll leave you alone now, because I know i'm prying. And prying can be bad."
Hollowwisp stood up, and pranced off. Leaving Crowflight to think about her words. She had said she cared about him. She wanted to say more on the subject, but that would have to wait. She would save her thoughts for when Crowflight wanted to open up. Because once he opened up, he would need comfort. And the words she wanted to say, would hopefully comfort him. If he felt the same way.

Crowflight was uncertain of Hallowwisp and confused by her words. Actions spoke louder than words but her actions made his feelings collide with his racing thoughts. There for him? He didn't need her to be there he just wanted to be left alone. But is that really what he wanted? Or was he just saying that to himself so he could never be rejected by her. He wanted to go off and find her talk to her but how would he approach her? She would probably think he was mad.
Was he mad? Had he finally cracked after all these years? Hallowwisp had been trying to get him to open up since two moons ago. Maybe he should open up? But what if she hated him? Whaf if she thought less of him. He wasn't sure if he wanted to take that risk. I mean after all she had said he wasn't worthless but then again that could just be talk. He frowned thia she-cat had him questioning himself. She was doing all the questioning but when would he be able to question her. There had to be a bigger motive than what she so preached.
It didn't take him long to pick up her enchanting scent, he stalked her for a bit watching her quitely. Knowing he most likely looked like a creep if she spotted him but he didn't care. His nerves were haywire and he was insecure at the moment. After realizing this was going know where he stepped into view to confront her.
"What is your real motive behind all of this?"

Hollowwisp jumped, despite having seen crowflight before hand. But she smiled after a second. "My real motive? I thought I already made that clear. I care about you." She mewed, and after a second, realized that he wanted a better explanation. "Okay, I care about you a little more than i've let on. Crowflight," She started, and then looked down. "I'm doing all of this... because... I love you. I have since we were kits." She continued, her voice receding into a whisper. Her words were loud enough for Crowflight to hear, and Hollowwisp was scared he would reject her. She looked up, her eyes filled with worry, and nerves.

No words could ever describe properly the shock that went through Crowflight's body. It was like an allegric reaction that ripped out the allergy itself. His head spun and his heart raced but the only thing plastered on his face was a giant frown and furrowed eye brows. His amber eyes looked back and forth from her paws to her eyes. Those eyes, he shivered a bit not sure how to go about this.
So she loved the character of mystery but she would never love the character he really was. The monster hidden from his clan. He let out a sigh sitting down, so she loved him as a kit. It made him feel better to a certain degree but also destoryed. She wouldn't love him when she realized he was a brutal murderer. He was a cat without a guilty conscience. He wasn't upset about killing those cats nor did he feel bad but he worried how it would impact his life now.
"Love? You love the cat you think I am. You don't love ME."
Simple harsh words slid from his mouth. But they were true she didn't know the real him she knew the one everyone else did. He felt a bit bad for saying those words to her but it was necessary. He didn't want her to go running off in tears but she needed to understand him on all levels before declaring love. He kn the other hand could declare love as she was a sweet soul. It was always saw as opposites attract and it was true in this situation. She was the light to his darkness drawning him in. At first he had wanted to destory her life but it was so fantasinating he couldn't help but let it shine. But once he took the fake glow away and she realized he waa the darkness. Would his light run away?

Hollowwisp knew better than to get upset. Even though she could feel the tears rising in her eyes. She just blinked them back and shook her head. Crowflight had to understand what she meant. "No, Crowflight. I fell in love with the bubbly kit who I use to play with. I fell in love with the tom I know is deep down in you. Even thought you pushed him down, I know he's still there." She sat down, and didn't take her eyes off him. She knew her declaration of love was getting to him by the emotion that flickered in his eyes. "And if you want me to know the Crowflight that you built over the past moons, then tell me. I won't deny you. Even if you have done something horrible. I'll only support you. Because that's what I know, and I feel." She replied, her voice calm, and her emotions settling down. Tears were no longer trying to break through, she was her normal self again.

Shook his head this she-cat was so clueless and didn't understand who he really was. Bubbly? He had never been bubbly most likely funny but never bubbly. He had always been harsh but funny even back then. But Hallowwisp didnt want to see what he knew of. Well he would inform her and let the monster inside run wild. Take things from there, Crowflight trying to protect her was gone.
"I killed my father with the help of my brother, we even killed Graytail's brother, Blackspots & father, Owlwing as well. We killed many cats that had figured that we killed our father, unfortunately including your father. He was too nosy for his own good. When he caught green cough and you went to fetch the mint I fed the blind old bag a death berry."
He felt horrible as the words ran out his mouth, he know how she felt for her father and was forced by his brother Eagletalon to do so who happen to always be stronger than him. As he spoke with ice on his tongue, those amber eyes became stones for a moment rock hard and emotionless although he was quaking inside.
"These cats had found out that we were not from this clan but from Shadowclan our mother, Whitefang died by the paws of our Riverclan father, Duststorm so the respect was to be returned. My brother Eagletalon wanted deputy but you took it. Pried it from his claws without warning. Devisating it was, at first he wanted to seduce you so perhaps you would give up the position but when ge realized you wouldn't he decided to have me kill you....."
His words slipped from his mouth with ease as if he had praticed telling such a story to her. His amber eyes blazing and his claws unsheathed gripping the dirt in anger knowing he had just lost the thing he had fought to protect.
"But I denied helping to kill you, so he decided to do it alone. That night you were to meet him at the river. I killed him and enjoyed the lights fading from his green eyes. He never deserved you or the position. He deserved nothing."
OOC: hope you don't mind the twist with the father thing

At first, Hollowwisp was shocked. Her brain told her to run, but her heart, of course, told her to stay. Despite the earlier flinching, Hollowwisp padded over to Crowflight and laid her tail over his shoulders. "Crowflight, despite the fact that you killed all of those cats, i'm still here. Even though the list includes my father. I forgive you. Because you were kind enough to keep me alive. That should say something. Despite everything, you decided against killing another cat. Crowflight, you turned a corner." She mewed, her words turning into a whisper again. She didn't feel like she was in danger. She never felt she was in danger when she was with Crowflight. "I know you will never hurt me. Especially after what you just told me. I know i'm safe." She mewed, and she knew she must be insane for being in love with a murderer, but she felt like she was right. Crowflight was a better cat. Despite what he thought.
(OOC: Nah, it's fine. We've both been putting twists into our role play, so I don't mind. XD)

Crowflight flinched and withdrew from her utterly confused. Why didn't she flee or scream at him. How could she forgive him!? He was evil, a murderer. He shook his head not looking at her any longer.
"I don't deserve you either. You deserve better."
In his mind it was true. She deserved a noble, loyal cat. Not a down right sneaky murderer. How could she possibly love him when he possessed she evil intentions as he does? The she-cat had lost her mind clearly. He didn't dare look at her because eve. Though he wanted to cry his father, Duststorm had always told him crying was weak and Crowflight wasn't one to be weak. He felt the uger to run away and hide in a tree or just disappear. He spilt his guts and was now lost by her words.

Hollowwisp shook her head. "Crowflight, your probably thinking I lost my mind right now, but I haven't. I forgive easily. And I can't be mad at the cat I love. Even if he has committed murder. Ever cat has a deep dark secret. And yours just happens to be murder. And the fact that you didn't kill me, even when your brother wanted to, means that you must love me to. Because you killed your own kin to protect me. So clearly, your worth something. It means that your loyal to the people you love." She mewed, surprising herself. She had never comforted a cat to this level. She had never really talked about this any how. So this was all new to her as well.

Crowflight wasn't sure how to act or what to do. Love was a first for him ever. His father Duststorm never had liked him and the cats in the clan never had either. His brother claim to love him but clearly for his bidding. He finally looked into those green eyes of Hallowwisp and frowned.
"Sometimes you don't know how to love, even when you are in love."
The words were meant for him but spoken to her. Confusing very but if yoy could comprhend then it wouldn't ve that hard to figure what he meant by it. He was lost, a lost cat trying to escape his bad purpose in life.

Hollowwisp smiled, and licked Crowflight on the cheek. "It'll come easier as you open up more, and get over your past." She explained, and stood up. She stretched, and looked at Crowflight. "You want to try swimming? Or is it to soon?" She asked, her voice and eyess showing her happiness. The deputy wasn't sure of where they stood relationship wise, but she was happy that things were going better. She had gotten Crowflight to open up, and she knew more about him. So in her mind, everything was going perfect. Even if the tom she was in love with just confessed to several murders, including her fathers.
(OOC: I know right? This thread is amazing! And I love roleplaying with you to. XD It's fun!)

Crowflight felt an odd sensation when she licked his cheek. He frowned when she asked to swim but stood anyway. He nudged her forward towards the river bank. Almost as if he had become mute again. He didn't need to or want to speak, as he felt she understood or should. He didn't understand sudden affection such as the one displayed but figured he would learn if he ever found reason to forgive himself. Opening up to her had drained him of any energy he use to have. He sat at the end of the river, not sure if he should get in or not.

Hollowwisp purred happily, and wasted no time in wading into the water. She was a RiverClan cat, she loved to be in the open waters and swim. And she still had yet to understand why Crowflight was so hesitant to get in. But she had a hunch. Although she would keep her suspicions to herself until later. She would take baby steps with Crowflight. Hollowwisp really didn't want to scare him off. Especially since they had made so much progress already. Things were going great, she didn't want to ruin it so quickly. Like she sometimes tended to do. She purred and looked up at Crowflight.
"Come on, the water feels amazing. I'm right here for support." She mewed, being her normal helping self. She knew some RiverClan cats had a weird relationship with water, some were even scared. So she knew how to handle Crowflight. Well, she thought she knew how.

Crowflight's first reaction was to reject her offer. But he had just confessed and she had to. She loved him for whatever reason, despite that he was a murderer. He frowned, he still felt strongly that he didn't like deserve her at all. He felt she deserved so much better and it made him wince that he didn't deserve. It was like a good movie going wrong. She wasn't suppose to love him back it was all wrong possibly a trick? He didn't know he was confused by her.
"Swim?"
Was all he said before he stood and slowly slipped into the water. The rivers force pressing against his fur weighing him down along with his guilt. He stood near the edge where he could stand and the water was only chest height. He didn't know what to think but felt a sudden chill. Would his brother be upset and say he betrayed her.

Hollowwisp purred contently and nodded in encouragement. She just loved swimming, it always made her feel so much better when she was upset. That's why, most cats could find her here on certain days. Even thought she was enjoying herself, she noticed Crowflight didn't look all that happy. He seemed to be lost in his thoughts.
"Crowflight? What's on your mind?"
She uttered the words curiously. She didn't want to push, but she wanted Crowflight to know he could tell her anything. And his thoughts shouldn't seem to bad compared to his past. Although, his past wasn't as bad if you thought about it. He was only protecting his brother, and his secrets. And at one point, he was protecting her. Maybe I am crazy...
(OOC: I hope you don't mind. I'm adopting your role playing style. Lol)

Crowflight faced her with a neutral face. He crept closer towards her, he swam close enough that their tails touched but that was all the contact he could take at the moment. His nerves were a bit haywire so he wasn't sure how to react to her constitent purrs. But they sounded like a melody his mother had hummed the night she brought them to Riverclan.
"You.. and my brother. I don't understand why you choose me over him? And I'm fearing my brother doesn't walk among Starclan so he is planning against me. The last thing I want is for you to get hurt."

Hollowwisp stopped purring, but her smile remained. She looked at Crowflight happily. She never quite understood why she chose Crowflight. Actually, she never chose him. From the moment they became friends as kits, she knew he was going to be her mate one day. She didn't understand it until they were apprentices, but she knew.
"Ever since we were kits, I knew it was you I wanted to be with. I would always try and talk to you, but your brother would always get in my way. And i'm to nice, i'm just way to nice, to brush past a cat who wanted to talk to me. So I would wait until he was finished talking, and then I would look for you, and you would be gone. So if it seemed to you that I liked your brother, than you thought wrong. Because, to be truthful, your brother has always annoyed me."
She laughed lightly at her words, and then continued.
"If your brother doesn't walk among Starclan, and i'm sure he doesn't, then i'm sure he's planning something. Because he can see us right now. He can hear what i've been telling you. But i'm almost positive he won't act on his thoughts. If he does, then we will have a war on our hands. But I promise you, I won't let him hurt either one of us. And I know Starclan won't either."

Crowflight let his frown fade but the tugging feeling of his brother planning against him worried him. He didnt like that she laughed at it as if it was a joke. But he knew she was just trying to comfort him so he steadily calmed himself.
He didn't want her to get hurt despite what she thought she could no protect herself from his brother. Eagletalon had brutal strength an agility. Where as Crowflight seems to be brutally strong but he lacked strength when it came to his brother so he took the intelligence at the end of their family inheritance. He didn't let her know this but if he found signs of his brother in any manner. He would unfortunately have to leave her side. He would not put her in danger regardless.
"If you want to rely on that be my guest."

Hollowwisp shrugged, and padded onto the bank. She shook her pelt out, and started to groom herself.
"All i'm saying is that i'm going to do my best to protect you. Just like I know your going to protect me."
She mewed in-between licks.
