Name:
Haresprint
Gender:
Male
Age:
22 moons
Clan:
Windclan
Rank:
Medicine Cat(?)
Basic Appearance:
Haresprint is a scrawny cat, always looking like more of an apprentice than a full-grown warrior. His eyes are stormy gray that contrast with his thin pelt nicely. As for his build, this cat is lean--built for speed, like most Windclan cats. A rough, black and white spotted pelt covers his lanky body.
Personality:
If ever was a quiet cat, it was Haresprint. He tends to only speak when spoken to, and only make eye contact when deemed neccesary. She-cats make him most uncomfortable. For this reason, he likes to keep busy, or shut up in his den. After moons of being amongst swarms of cats, he's realized that socialization is a must; however, that doesn't mean he has to like it.
This young cat can come off as sharp, or grumpy, or just plain weird. But his behavior is just him trying to cope with his inner demons--that is, his social tendancies. On the other paw, Haresprint can be gentle and sweet. You only need to get to know him.
History:
As an apprentice, Haresprint, or Harepaw, decided that he would walk the path of a medicine cat. That meant no mate, no patrols, no hunting--but it would be worth it. It had to be worth it, because there was no turning back once his nose touched the Moonstone.
His mentor was a young tom by the name of Ashwood who, like him, recieved an apprentice at an early age. It was a good thing, too, because not far into Harepaw's training, Ashwood was attacked by a fox. Unable to save him--because of such a deep wound to the neck, not bad training--scarred the apprentice for life. Now he would have to take on the duties by himself, and fill in the blanks about what heals what. Most of the information came from the Elders, and the senior Medicine Cats of other clans; and somehow he made it. Haresprint had just gotten in the groove of being alone in his den, shutting out all but the sick and grief-stricken, when his world took a turn for what he thought was the worst: he received an apprentice.
