Harepaw blinked his eyes open at moon high. The young tom had gotten enough sleep, so he was ready for an adventure. He thought about waking one of the toms up, but they were never any fun. Which was ironic. So he quietly over to Fawnpaws nest, and prodded her awake. "Fawnpaw!" He whispered, and poked her again. "Fawnpaw! Wake up!" He whispered again. Trying to wake his best friend up. (OOC: Didn't I tell you, I suck at starting posts. Lol)

Fawnpaw sleepily opened her eyes, having just been in the middle of a miraculous dream. Not long after her eyes did they close again, not awake and definitely not wanting to get up. "But I don't wanna train today." She mumbled sleepily, not recognizing the voice and thinking it was her mentor. She grimaced faintly when Harepaw continued prodding her and blindly lashed out, not surprise after she missed. Slowly the cream she-cat yawned and slowly opened her eyes again, "What?" She mumbled moodily, sitting up and looking at Harepaw. The tom certainly was her best friend but that didn't mean she didn't like getting a nice nights sleep once in a while. "Where are you going now?" She mumbled, keeping her voice low as she stood and stretched. She had heard the tom had normally crept out of camp at night and, to be honest, it didn't surprise her because Harepaw was beyond capable of doing such a thing.

Harepaw quietly laughed when Fawnpaw thought he was her mentor. After a night of exploring, he always acted like that. So the tom knew how she felt. Finally the she-cat sat up, and Harepaw grinned. "I wanted to explore the great sycamore. We've never gotten that far before. I wanted to try and climb it." He mewed proudly, and he started padding out of the den. Usually, by the time they were a mere tail length away from the tree, it was almost dawn, and they had to head back to camp. This time, he wanted to go early. So they could get there and have some fun.

Fawnpaw rolled her eyes when he laughed at her, sitting back and beginning to groom down her cream colored pelt since it was bed ridden and sticking out in all different directions. Even though Fawnpaw was always up for a nice adventure she just couldn't do it with her fur being ugly and out of place. "Hey, they sounds awesome." She whispered, jumping back to her paws once she finished with her fur before quietly creeping after Harepaw with curiously shifting eyes. She paused thoughtfully and glanced around for any warriors before continuing on after Harepaw, her paw steps quiet and her movements swift and easy as she followed Harepaw's lead.

Harepaw grinned. He trotted out of the den, and slowly made his way towards the tunnel he and Fawnpaw had discovered when they had just become apparentices. It was covered by brambles, but they were easy to move out of the way, and the hole was just big enough for apprentices. The tom slipped out of the hole, and was standing in the training hollow, his fur wild from squeezing through the hole. He stretched, and started to groom his fur while waiting for fawnpaw. "Were going to have to make that hole bigger. We're getting to big to fit through." He smiled, and stood back up after he finished grooming his fur.

FAWNPAW -
Fawnpaw slowly squeezed into the tunnel, pausing to turn and pull the bramble covering back into place in case any warriors happened to get up and see it out of water. Slowly she crawled through the tunnel, pulling herself out with some difficulty after a second and shaking her pelt out. She didn't bother sitting down and taking the time to fix it since they really needed to get moving if they wanted to make it to the great sycamore. "Come on, let's go. I'll fix my fur once we get to the sycamore." She stated with a small smile, stretching her legs and swiftly starting forward at a brisk pace. Harepaw was right, they never really did get to the sycamore in time and the more he walked about it the more it made Fawnpaw want to reach it like they always talked about. "Hurry up, you lazy fur ball!" She called playfully over her shoulder, looking back forward and pushing quietly through the under growth. She glanced around softly, eventually pausing in step to wait and let Harepaw catch up.

Harepaw laughed at Fawnpaw and her fur as she pulled out of the hole. It was sticking up everywhere! "Nice fur!" He mewed between laughing fits. But as the she-cat took off, Harepaw stood up. "Hey! No fair! You got a head start!" He called, and chased after Fawnpaw. Wasting no time in catching up. And soon, the pair made it to the Great Sycamore. He looked up, and grinned. "Race you to the top?" And before Fawnpaw had time to answer, Harepaw was climbing up. It wasn't easy, but it wasn't that hard either. The bark was easy to dig into, so within minutes he was almost to the top.
(OOC: GAHH. This post sucks. But I least I got something. :/ I'm still buzzing with excitement about the possibility of being an aunt! XD)

FAWNPAW -
Fawnpaw huffed softly and glared at him as he laughed up her, immediately taking that moment to swat a paw at him. "Shut up! You didn't like any better!" She spat, though at all means her voice held tease and delight as she glared ruefully at him, starting on her lead and smirking when he called after her, blissfully continuing on and pretended she hadn't heard. She blinked in delight when they made it to the sycamore and sat down, immediately beginning to lick down her ruffled cream fur as Harepaw came up beside her. Fawnpaw paused and glanced up, getting ready to answer but ending it on a hiss of surprise. "You got a head start!" She called mockingly, unsheathed her claws and immediately beginning to make her way up the tree, slowly but surely as she followed in Harepaw's swift movements.

Harepaw laughed as he made it up to the second highest branch. He was really high up, and didn't even want to climb the rest of the way. His paws were tired, and he knew if he tried to climb the rest of the way, he would fall. So he just laid on the branch and groomed his fur. "So, what do you want to do now? I know I can't go any farther. My paws might fall off." He smiled at his den mate, and stretched. Making sure to keep his front claws latched into the bark. And a precaution. And slowly turned himself towards Fawnpaw. He was hoping the branch would be bigger, so they could play, but sadly, it wasn't that big. Probably only big enough for a fox. If even.

FAWNPAW -
Fawnpaw slowly trailed upward after Harepaw, her movements swift and fairly skilled in climbing the tree. Maybe climbing up those trees in the many dares she'd been given was starting to pay off, in a way. Well, if she was matching Harepaw move for move then it absolutely had to be helping. She paused when she stopped, the relief flooding over her features as she squeezed onto the branch beside him. She mindlessly laid comfortably against it, having just enough room without having to shove Harepaw off, before glancing up at him and listening with one of her ears mindlessly twitching in habit. "Mm.. That's a good question," She mewed through a small yawn, her tail swaying limply off of the branch. "I really don't know, to be honest... Any ideas?" She asked considerably, looking back up to him.
