.Moonstar.
Silently, Moonstar led his warriors, and new followers, closer and closer to the Thunder Clan camp. Hawkstar had presented a challenge to him and he wanted to test how serious he was about it, this time Moonstar decided to lead the raid himself. The raid group was not large, but it was not small either. Just big enough to wear down the Thunder Clan warriors. The plan was to attack, then leave quickly. Moonstar paused, testing the air, then motioned for his raid to move forth.

Fallenfeather froze dropping into a crouch. His nose identified shadowclan and the scent was fresh. He flicked his tail sending someone to go notify Hawkstar. From there he took his patrol of 6 towards the scent. Knowing their scent would mix in with the rest of their territory making it hard and nearly impossible to scent them coming. Unlike Shadowclan who moved somewhat loudly in there dry ground and undergrowth; they had an advantage this was their home so they moved stealthily towards them drawing close.

Tigershadow was secretly thrilled to be a part of the patrol responsible for thwarting the ShadowClan raid. She crinkled her nose in disgust at the rapidly apparent ShadowClan scent. Mousebrains! It's not as if they're even trying to raid us properly, they'd have hidden if they would!
She whispered to her leader "What shall we do, Hawkstar?"

Dovepaw and Darkpaw leaped from branch to branch following the Shadowclan patrol. They smiled each time they looked at each other they were naturalist squirrel cats and could track cats easy. Dovepaw had grabbed a few pebbles when they climbed into the tree's she had them in her mouth she had a few tricks to pull on the Shadowclan cats. Every-once in a while they would shake a branch pretending that the Shadowclanners had scared a squirrel. It was smart as they were unscented, raised in the higher area so they could leap in out of no where and attack.

Hawkstar let a growl slip from his throat lowly at the site of the two apprentices in the tree. What the hell did they think they were doing!? He leaned closer to Fallenfeather and Tigershadow whisper quickly as he was still a pissed at the stupid apprentices. He sighed those foolish two acted like mere newborn kittens rather than soon to be warriors. He admired their enthusiasm for battle but this wasn't a good battle for either to be caught up in.
"Tigershadow once those two idiots get on the ground or you find them after the battle make sure they come see me. If not then make them clean the elder dens."
For he wasn't really angry no he was more worried for there lives. The two idiot adventurers were always getting into to trouble. They had picked up the same tacit of fighting as his deputy. He frowned it wasn't smart for them as any warrior from Shadowclan could easily knock them out or off there backs especially with Frostbite flanking Moonstar he was even more worried. if she got close enough to the kits she would kill them without so much as a second thought. Not to mention Moonstar was purely a evil soul. Flicking his tail signalling Fallenfeather to circle around to the ambushes of other side.
"Once they reached the other side we shall attack."
He spoke to Tigershadow in a tone only she could hear with his blue eyes fixed ahead at the Shadowclan cats. He would keep Moonstar occupied and hopefully some cat would be able to handle Frostbite. He noticed Lionclaw was also nearby and figured Fallenfeather would handle her. He was too tense ready to shot out of his position like a bullet out the barrel.

Tigershadow, looking up into the dense canopy of the trees, noticed her apprentice, Dovepaw, playing the fool with her brother. What IS she doing? I never trained her for this... I just hope she doesn't break her neck
"Yes, Hawkstar, I'll make sure they come see you, even if I have to drag them by their tails."

Darkpaw looked back at the cats realizing Thunderclan was splitting. If only they had a third cat they could attack the Shadowclan patrol from three directions. He leaped to Dovpaw's branch and told her the plan. They were going to trick Shadowclan warriors, into thinking there was more Thunderclan then Shadowclan had expected.

Skeletalstripe bounded down toward Hawkstar and the others spotting the two apprentices. Hawkstar do you want me to go up with them. To make sure they don't get in to much trouble with mouse-brained Shadowclan cats he asked.

Hawkstar felt a wave of relief when Skeletalstripe asked to go up. But he wasn't sure how the two apprentices would act if they saw the deputy coming towards him. Now he realized why he had picked Skeletalstripe as his deputy. Even if he was as hot head as Hawkstar himself he was amazingly loyal and skillful compared to most cats. He looked at the black and white tom before shaking his head and speaking.
"No leave them be, if they happen to fall out the tree I'm sure they'll land on their paws. && when they do fall out the tree they will detract Moonstar and his cats. That would be another great advantage. Besides I need your skills down here anyhow."
He turn back to Tigershadow blinking a thank you to her. He waited patiently for either the apprentices to fall out the tree or Fallenfeather to signal him. Tense and thick as this air was he couldn't help but secretly enjoy the fact that maybe there was a battle about to go on.
OOC: I need Lionclaw to come so we can start xD she is suppose to kill Fallenstar to keep the feud going even after this one.

Moonstar was surprised how quick the Thunder Clan warriors surrounded him. But the subtitly was not one of his goals on this raid. He spotted Hawkstar and charged at him, planning to pin him to ground. "Any threat?" Moonstar mocked with a smirk.
.Midnight.
Midnight was behind Moonstar as they advanced towards Thunder Clan. The loner felt more than ready for her first battle with the Thunder Clan warriors. She might have looked small, but the she-cat had a lot of fight in her. She twitched her crooked tail with impatience, shouldn't they have noticed a raid on their territory by now?
She had thought too soon. Midnight noticed a warrior patrol heading their way. Moonstar had chosen to go towards the Thunder Clan leader. Midnight felt a pebble hit her head, she hissed and looked up to see two apprentices jumping from tree to tree as if they intended to confused the raid. With another hiss Midnight latched herself on a branch and started to climb up to follow them, planning to knock them out of the trees.

Dovepaw grinned as she spat a rock at Moonstar. Shadowclan cats are so mouse-brained they were tracked by apprentices. She chuckled as she spat another rock at the Shadowclan cat she had never seen before (Midnight). Then disappeared back into the trees as Darkpaw leaped down and swiped at the Shadowclan warrior's leg before jumping onto another tree and climbing to safety.

Skeletalstripe nodded to Hawkstar then spotted Moonstar running toward them as a rock came and slammed into the Shadowclan leader.
He chuckled as he saw a dark shape strike down onto the ground and swipe at a Shadowclan warrior's leg before it disappeared once again.

.Moonstar.
Moonstar was getting closer to the Thunder Clan leader, when suddenly a large pebble fell from the sky on his head. Moonstar hissed and coughed up dirt as the distraction caused him to trip over his own feet like some helpless kit. He glared up into the trees with a annoyed growl and noticed two apprentices at work trying to distract his warriors. However, he was glad he noticed the new loner recruit, Midnight, was trying to keep them busy. Moonstar scuffed and countined his charge at the Thunder Clan leader.
.Midnight.
'Where did they go?' Midnight thought, scanning the tree lines. Suddenly a pebble was chucked at her face and one of the apprentices managed to swipe her off her paws. Midnight slipped, but dug her claws in the branch quickly and regained her balance. Unlike most of Shadow Clan, Midnight had grown up climbing in the twoleg city and had learned to climb swiftly and regain her balance quickly if she slipped.

Dovepaw spat another rock at the warrior as she spotted the deputy hiding on a higher branch. She looked at Darkpaw who had also noticed and they each got the picture as they ran toward the Shadowclan warrior and swiped at the black she cat. then hoped onto the tree that there deputy had climbed into and waited.

Skeletalstripe spotter the loner as she climbed and he leaped into the trees as well. taking a perch on a branch above the branches the apprentices had used he waited watching midnight and the apprentices. when he saw the apprentices his way he knew what to do.

SMOKESTRIPE Smokestripe flanked his leader silently as they had entered ThunderClan territory. The big tom was displeased at their actions, how they were attacking another clan. What was it for? To prove their strength despite being the smallest clan? He simply didn't understand. ShadowClan had unfortunately gained a bad reputation for their brutality and power regardless of the situation. No clan would ever say ShadowClan had lost their vicious ability to fight. But he went without question, obedient as always and prepared to do damage. Being quite docile, it was against his nature, but Smokestripe seemed to be unusually skilled at ignoring his guilt in the face of a battle.
Suddenly everything was a rushing blur. Smokestripe had overlooked the cats that had been apparently aware of their position. So much for a sneak attack. Moonstar was after Hawkstar, and Smokestripe set out on his own. His eyes fell onto a striped she-cat he believed he'd seen once at a gathering. He vaguely remembered her name as Tiger... Tiger-something. He felt a tinge of uncertainty plague him, but he didn't spend any more time thinking and charged forward. He leaped up after her, propelling his massive body off the ground with his claws outstretched to the stocky little she-cat. Perhaps he'd be able to pin her down somehow.

OOC: PEACH WHAT THE HELL?!  Tigershadow had absolutely no warning before she was bowled over by a massive set of paws. Though, she had always been good at acting under extreme pressure. Twisting in mid-air, she landed on top of the ShadowClan tom's shoulders, pushing him down to receive a none too gentle faceplant into the dirt. In the thick of battle, Nobody noticed her desperately flailing, trying to keep her position on top of the massive cat. Even though her loyalty of her clan demanded she kill this ShadowClan intruder, she couldn't. He was another cat who may just have a family of his own. Fleetingly, she thought of her mate, Lionwhisker, also fighting, and let the tom she was battling have the opportunity to flee, giving him a wicked bite to the shoulder. |
