Skeletalstripe raced in and sat in the center of the sandy hollow. He blinked allowing his eyes to adjust to the lighting. Silently waiting then leaped out and clashed a claw into the tree twisting around then climbing up. He hit the tree branch and hung there.

Hawkstar watched the deputy for a moment his eye brows furrowing when he clenched to the tree stay there in that position. Figuring his deputy had smelt or spotted him he stepped out of the bushes. His posture straight up in an authority manner he arched an eye brow at his deputy before he sat. He consulted over his words before speaking to Skeletalstripe.
"Why are you training?"

skeletalstripe leaped into the air only to hear his leaders sharp question. turning to face his leader he lost sight of the tree he was going to climb.thump was all that he heard as he found himself on the ground.

Hawkstar bit back a sharp growl as the cat didn't answer his question. His tail slash the air obviously annoyed with his deputy now.
"You can't talk now? Or you just choosing not to answer your leader?"
He half hissed, did this cat not respect him at all. This only ruffled his fur as he was not sure if his clan would obey him as he was pretty young.

"sorry i you weren't the one who got hit by a tree" Skeletalstripe hisses back in retort. the reason i train is for better strength and agility. if i don't practice my moves then it as if they die out like plants. he growled to his leader. as he stood to his feet his head still in pain from hitting the tree.

Hawkstar growled at response as his deputies tone. It was clear he forgot hia place it took all the patience he had not to smack the tom to ground with his gaint paw.
"Have you forgotten your talking to your leader? Has your mother taught you no respect!? It seems i didn't choose a good deputy as I thought."
He snarled at Skeletalstripe. His tail lashing the air and his fur on end. He was bristling all over again.

(i see your point but cats can have anger especially since there leader called on them even though he knows Skeletalstripe's style of hiding in trees for the right moment to strike that is why the cat is a good rabbit catcher.) sorry Hawkstar i was angry cause you of all people know i stalk in the trees. he meowed back softer now thinking over what he had said.

Hawkstar didn't take excuses and he wasn't going to let this slide fully. He didn't like to be disrespect at all and just because he knew someone didn't mean they got special privileges.
"As you know like the rest of the clan to show respect to the leader regardless of what you feel at the moment
My word rules over any as my authority do not step out of line like that again or I might hand you your tail."
Was all he hissed at him before stalking back to camp. Now he was sure of his choices in general.

yes sir he said in a low meow watching his leader leave. Skeletalstripe sometimes wished something would happen to Hawkstar. then he thought 'now even there friendship was put at stake because of one false mishap'. he shook it from his head and began to think of his actions.

Hawkstar whipped away from his deputy heading back to camp. He need to calm his mind completely, as if something else was to set him off he might snap.

Skeletalstripe began to stalk off to the river to clear his mind knowing that the Riverclan cats wouldn't see him.
