HALLOWPAW -
Hallowpaw lazily blinked her eyes open to the light peering in to the medicine cats den. The fluffy white she-cat sighing and rolled over to where she was facing the wall, her ears flicking back against her head and tail mindlessly wrapping around her body as her jaws split into a yawn. She huffed softly in annoyance as the light harmlessly flickered around her in reply and eventually forced herself up into a sitting position, dazed as she wobbled a little, getting used to the sun. She blinked her soft blue eyes and swiftly began licking at her messy white pelt, making it sleek back until it seemed nice and clean enough from her view. Today was her first day as the medicine cats apprentice and she wanted to look nice and pretty for the occasion of it.
The little she-cat jumped up and glanced around, her tail flicking slightly as she let out a sigh. In all honesty she would have much rather preferred the path of a warrior over a medicine cat. Just because of a little hearing loss. "Haresprint!" She practically screeched in the poor toms ear. "Get up! It's time to get up! The sun's up!" She continued on, trying to be as cheerful as she could possibly be. "What are we gonna do today?" She murrowed, talking unusually loud. "Are we gonna go hunting? Are you gonna teach me how to fight?" She purred in delight. Medicine cat's had to know about this stuff too, right? Boy.. She had a lot to learn if she thought medicine cat's fought and hunted daily. The she-cat got into a clumsy pouncing position like she and her siblings had always played in and pounced at the poor medicine cat. "C'mon! Get up!"

[Omg, Vines! We should make it to where this is Hallowpaw's first day being his apprentice and all so he doesn't really know about her hearing disorder and is kind of mumbling and stuff because he's all anti social, and Hallowpaw would be sitting there thinking. 'Wait.. What did he say?' ]

Haresprint
Haresprint lay peaceful, basking in the warm glow of morning as it filtered through the lichen. Daylight had come all too swiftly after a busy day collecting herbs, and having recieved what he though must be the bane of his existence: an apprentice. After such a day, the medicine cat had taken it upon himself to sleep a little bit later than usual; But, as fate would have it, Hallowpaw had other ideas. The Tom awoke to the sound of a she-cat screeching in his ear, emitting a sound that Haresprint classified as demonic, and unfit to escape any earthly creature.
"Be quiet and let me sleep," he muttered, burying his face in his paws. Cruel and unusual punishment--that was what this was. Ratstar, or mabye Starclan themselves must've been punishing him for being so reserved all the time. Perhaps Haresprint was overreacting, but he had never been quite a morning person, either. Then, something small and very fluffy knocked him sideways.
"Starclan forbid I get some sleep around here!" Haresprint huffed under his breath. Lifting himself off the ground, he glanced briefly at his attacker--a pretty apprentice with piercing blue eyes, and a ridiculously fluffy pelt. This was the cat he was to teach everything he knew. Oh, why couldn't it be a tom? Or at least a sensible she-cat? This cat's brain is full of thistledown! Haresprint ignored her and began cleaning his white and black pelt carefully. This was to show that he'd answer when he decided, and was likely to aggravate the demanding apprentice immensely.
Finally, he stopped, and looked over shyly, immediately dropping his gaze. It would take a miracle, he felt, to get used to this white which. Why did she talk so loud? Haresprint hadn't the faintest idea, and pondered it greatly. Then, with what one could say was the bravest tone he possessed, he mewed,"I expect you're excited about your training?" It was a truly idiotic question. Of course she was! That was all she had spoken of when she was yelling so, but the medicine cat couldn't be sure. His ears were still ringing.
[[ Haha, yeah ]]

HALLOWPAW -
Hallowpaw paused and tipped his head when the tom dismissed her and buried his face into his paws, uttering something to low for her disordered ears to make out. She frowned and gave him a questioningly look as she tipped her head, eventually giving up on what the tom had said at first. The next thing Haresprint had huffed had been fairly clearer though she could catch the tone of annoyance in it. The rolled her blue eyes softly and stalked away from the black and white figure, sitting promptly in front of him with his tail lashing against the den floor, impatience radiating from her small white body as she waited for an answer to her question.
"I'll answer you when you answer me." She stated simply to his question, her ears flicking back against her head and voice still a little louder then it should be. If there was anything in the world she didn't like it was another cat not answering a question when she asked. "Are you going to teach me to hunt and fight like a warrior? Surely a medicine cat has to know how to hunt and fight! I mean, what do they do when they get into battle? Flail their paws like a kittypet and hope to knick the closest thing to them?" She snorted, shaking her head softly at that.

Haresprint
He sighed. There was no use ignoring her--she wouldn't just disappear. This one was obviously here to stay. "I suppose so,"he mewed resignedly, voicing low enough for his speech to be considered a low murmur. It wasn't like Haresprint to give anyone a long answer, or a loud one for that matter, unless he was pressed with a dire situation. With that said, he watched Hallowpaw curiously from behind a paw, which he held up, painfully aware it did nothing to make him invisible to the fluffy creature before him.
Then, he stood up and began busying himself with a piece of moss stuch to the stony wall. Something needed to distract him from the awful awkwardness he felt. Briefly, he let his mind wander to the days during his own apprenticeship. Haresprint hadn't always been so shy, but now it was hard to imagine the medicine cat being anything else. A lot had happened since then; and he'd never quite been the same since the early death of his mentor.

HALLOWPAW -
Hallowpaw paused and tipped her head softly at she looked at Haresprint. "What'd you say? You gotta talk louder!" She stated, her ears flicking back against her hand in annoyance as she looked the tom over, her bushy tail lashing against the ground floor. "Momma said I have a hearing problem, that's why they filled me in as a medicine cat. It was either this or moving to the Elder's den early." She stated carefully as if to help shed some light on the situation at hand so Haresprint would understand. "I didn't wanna go to the Elder's den, y'know? It would'a been embarrassing." She stated, her ears lightly standing up on her head again while one of them mindlessly twitched.

Haresprint
Haresprint winced, peeking from over his shoulder. "Well, as medicine cat, I'm disappointed that it wasn't me to make that call. But we'll find out how you cope enough. Now, what is it you want to learn first?" he meowed carefully. Now that he had his back turned and attention fixed on the moss, he was able to be more bold, and considerably louder. That usual hint of shyness still riddled his words, though.
The camp outside was bustling now, catching the medicine cat's attention. His gaze shifted to the lichen screen. I suppose the clan will be expecting Hallowpaw and I to be out and about. I certainly won't let her get any more behind the other apprentices than she already is. With a new purpose in mind, Haresprint advanced toward the lichen screen, brushing through it as he awaited Hallowpaw's answer.

HALLOWPAW -
Hallowpaw paused and listened to him, offering a faint smile before rising up and trotting along after him. She shrugged her shoulders softly and looked at him, "What're my options?" She asked curiously as she watched him.

Haresprint
"You mentioned hunting and fighting, so those two, suppose?" he replied, trotting along at a brisk pace, and doing his best to stay ahead of the snowy apprentice. Haresprint could not have explained his utter nervousness to save his life; though, had he not acted this way, something would've been wrong indeed. So, the medicine cat just gazed around at the summer places, admiring the tall grasses and open spaces.

HALLOWPAW -
"Oh, yeah.. That'd be great if you could teach me some moves. I wanna know how to hunt and defend myself." She stated, trotting at a brisk pace after her mentor with curiously shifting blue eyes. Clearly she was delighted to be on the topic on how to hunt and fight. "We can start with hunting." She stated, confirming her thoughts with a nod since she thought it would be easier on the nervous tom.

Haresprint
[/b]
Haresprint allowed his muscles to relax. Good. Hunting wasn't too bad, and it was busywork. He dreaded making a fool of himself in battle training. "Excellent...Come with me." tail streaming, the tom dashed through the gorse tunnel. It felt good to run;the feeling of grass beneath his paws became a comfort after being curled up on the cold stone floor all night. Finally the medicine cat skidded to a halt. Crouching low, he fixtated his gaze on a paoint in the grass. "Shhh..."
Haresprint watched as a small brown hare peeked out from behind a clump of goldenrod, nibbling one of the golden heads. Thank starclan, they were upwind, or it might have scented them. In a burst of speed, the tom launched himself in the rabbit's direction and sprinted after it.
[[ Not much muse for Haresprint right now...Sorry my posts have been crappy of the late U-U ]]

HALLOWPAW -
Hallowpaw smiled and trotting along after her mentor, her eyes immediately growing wide with surprise at the site of the territory around her. A small purr erupted from her throat as she immediately began soaking up the territory like a sponge, her eyes flitting on one place for a second and immediately rushing to look at another in curiosity. The vast and rolling moorland enticed her with his long flowing golden grass and pale blue sky above. "Look how pretty it is Haresprint!" She exclaimed, pausing when he shh'ed her and flicked her ears back slight, blinking in surprise when a brown rabbit came into view. The little white she-cat bounced in place, watched her mentor as he chased down the rabbit. Hunting would probably prove her for her since he long white pelt was a dead give away but that wasn't going to ruin her mood at the moment.
Wordcount -150 Muse - Meh, so-so. Comments - Pft, you posts have been great! It's my posts that do no justice. xD But don't worry, my muse is pretty low, too.
