Hallowpaw looked up at him and laughed softly, "Yeah, right- I own this." She smirked, confidence in her blue eyes as she trotted along after the tom with happy blue eyes. She had never really seen Haresprint like this and she was absolutely enjoying the mood he was in- It was helping her brighten up into her formerly bubbly self. She purred happily and tipped her head innocently at Haresprint, eyes blue eyes narrowing lightly in challenge.

Haresprint.
Haresprint skidded to a halt beside
the brook, taking a moment to contemplate his drastic mood change. Finally, he shook it off and decided just to run with it. After all, it had certainly made a difference in Hallowpaw's mood. So, why not appease her? It surprised him how much he liked being so loose, though, and it felt rather unnatural. That was why he kept glancing back at the other training cats.
Maintaining a battle stance, the black and white cat mewed. "Alright, so we're mainly going to be using the moves that you would need if the camp is attacked. For instance, the front paw blow. It's one of the simplest, but quite effective if you do it well. Like this." Haresprint brought his front paw down over her head lightly, before jumping back. "Of course, on a real opponent, one would use more force."

Hallowpaw excitedly bounced in place as she watched Haresprint with eager blue eyes. Her former sulking and pouting attitude from before was gone all together and she was staring eagerly up at her mentor as he explained the basics of it. She blinked, her small ears flicking back when he bopped her head with her paw before grinning in amusement and nodded. "Well if you went me to practice it you have to get lower to the ground, I'm shorter then you- 'Member?"

Haresprint.
Hareprint scrunched up his features playfully before crouching lower to the ground. Of course, the size difference brought them to a whole 'nother fighting move, but he supposed that she would need to practice this one as well. The sight of Hallowpaw bouncing got his attention, as well as caused a purr rumble in his chest. She would need to steady herself in future battles. Then again, she was barely an apprentice, and she had alot more to learn. "Go ahead," he meowed, watching her carefully, calculating.

Hallowpaw smiled in amusement at the playful look on his face before rising up to her paws, her white body fidgeting in excitement. She tipped his head softly and lifted her paw, playfully bopping the top of his head before jumping back from the tom before he could do anything, as he had instructed. She twitched her ears happily and purred, getting in a playful little crouch before she bounced up to Haresprint and playfully hit the top of his head again, a small giggle erupting from her throat.

Haresprint.
Haresprint allowed her to beat the living dirt out of his head before standing up to stretch, his tongue curled into a huge yawn. "Good," he concluded, cuffing her ear playfully before returning to the lesson. "Now, the Leap-and-hold technique. Just jump onto your opponent's back--that's me--and hold on for dear life. From up there, you could really hurt somebody."
With that said, her mentor braced himself for the fluffy apprentice to spring at him. He would let her land, alright, but then he drop-and-roll, squishing her underneath him. That would be the best way to teach that lesson. "Alright, go at it!"

Hollowpaw grinned excitedly, listening to Haresprint with her ears strained forward and tail lashing happily. She took in the words and narrowed her eyes in thought, imagining herself preforming to move with graceful ease and envy. "Alright, I can do that." She stated confidently, backing up slightly before grinning and crouching down and darting at Haresprint, leaping onto the toms back as he had told her to do. She smirked in triumph and pawed at the top of her mentors head with amused blue eyes, starting to slip slightly. She squeaked softly and pulled herself more securely onto Haresprint's back, hanging onto him with a small grimace.
