Name: Badgertail
Gender: tomcat
Age: roughly 45 moons
Clan: Thunderclan
Rank: warrior
Appearance:
Large black and white tom with a solid black tail
Badgertail looks very much like his father, black and white, and doesn’t have a single hair of his mother’s silver pelt. All of his medium length fur is black and white with the exception of his tail. His tail is a completely solid black-as-the-moonstone-cave black. His eyes are all that shows that his mother is his mother carrying her soft, but clear blue shade.
Badgertail is a massive lumbering tom, like his namesake. Part of this is because he is naturally big, as his father was, but part of it is strong, powerful muscle. Badgertail is determined to be the strongest in the forest and has worked his body to prove it. He has a few scars from countless battles, but one stands out: a scratch that shredded his right ear. He couldn’t be grateful enough that the leader didn’t change his name
Personality:
Badgertail is a very determined cat. From a young age, hearing stories from elders, he resolved to be leader one day. His determination is not tainted by dark ambition however; he truly wants what is best for his clan. He will fight to make his clan stronger and stronger, constantly pushing himself and them, but never pushing too far or leaning towards dishonor.
To him the warrior code is everything and follows it to a fault. As a result of that he is against anything that is from other clans (several of the laws stand against clans mingling together so it must be wrong for them to mix) and he tends to have a deep resentment towards cats who are half clan or loners or rouge.
History:
Badgerkit was the only one of his litter, born not too long after Wildbelly and Mousenose’s, his older brothers', naming ceremony. His father and mother, Falcontallon and Silverwing, were kind to him. This was the first time they had had only a single kit in a litter. But he was very quick to open his eyes and explore compared to the other kits. For the most part he liked to keep out of trouble, staying in camp and staying out of the way of the working warriors and apprentices. He did play fight a lot though. But if he wasn’t play fighting he was in the elders den. They told him story after story of tireless heroes and brave warriors who defended their clan to their last breath. He marveled at how powerful the cats of Lionclan and Tigerclan must have been and could only sit in awe at the glory Starclan must have had. But most of all he enjoyed the stories of great cats who had served their clan faithfully and earned the rank of ‘star and given nine lives. One day that would be him.
Badgerkit could not be more excided than the night when he became Badgerpaw. His mentor, Stonestorm, was a fierce and strict mentor, and he would have it no other way. Hard as stone he pushed the little apprentice and made him a warrior. Badgerpaw did especially well in battle training but his size made hunting and climbing trees a little difficult for him. Stonestorm taught him, above all else, that the other clans were not their friends. They may be together in times of serious hardship, but they will never be allies.
His name became Badgertail after several moons of long training. A few moons later he started spending a lot of time with Seedpaw, an apprentice soon to be Seedfall, a beautiful silver and grey she-cat with green eyes. After she earned his warrior name the two quickly became mates and she gave birth to Frostkit, their only son. Only a moon later greencough spread through the camp claiming both Frostkit and Seedfall.
Badgertail spent moons greiving for his lost mate and kit. time has healed most of his injury and he has returned to his origional ambition: To become clan leader.
