.Smokepelt. [/u] The small, smoky gray she-cat, looked over at the large tom beside her. His words were unexpected, and she stumbled over her words a moment. I, uh, I didn't... she started to say, the she say the shine in his eyes. He's teasing me! she thought, truly surprised by this. Oh, I don't know. Both I guess. she said, trying to deepen her voice to sound like him, and fluffing out her silver gray pelt to appear larger. Then she relaxed, purring slightly. But she quickly remembered who she was with, and shot his a quick glance to be sure that she hadn't offended him, or done anything wrong. So, where should be go? she asked, using her normal voice this time. Maybe he's not so bad. she thought, looking at the large Windclan deputy. She was still cautious around him, trying to control her kit like tendencies, but she wasn't quite as worried if he was willing to overlook them.

Luckystrike watched as she stumbled with words before she realized he was merely joking with her. He chuckled at her impression of him, he was pretty sure his fur wasn't that fluffy or was it? He felt a bit self conscious for a moment but let it slide over no need for it. When she questioned on where they should go he tilted his head actually thinking on it for a moment. He would head towards Shadowclan first after all they had attacked them or tired to but it had been a failed attempt with the Badger and all. He flicked his tail in the direction he choose before taking the lead again.
"I'm pretty sure my fur is not that fluffy, and your voice is not that deep or you'll have a hard time finding a mate."
He joked a bit to lighten the mood, if he was going to be on a patrol with her alone he might as well make it worth the time. He didn't want her to be bored as she was a new warrior with kit nature about her. He didn't mind it much but only felt it should be kept under control at certain times this happen to be one of those times that it could be set free. He hoped she would pick up on his effort it was hard to make things work without the help of another.

.Smokepelt. [/u] Smokepelt looked around a moment, as Luckystrike seemed to be thinking of the best place to patrol, she had expected to head toward the Shadowclan boarder, but with only two cats, that might be a risky choice. She noticed his chosen direction, and willingly followed his lead. Her hazel, yellow tented, eyes looked ahead, hoping to spot some prey as they move along. Although they have been fairly well fed, patrolling and fighting took a lot out of the warriors. Her small frame, and long legs making her perfect for rabbit hunting. She looked over at the fluffy tom beside her. His long, ginger fur flowing softly in the breeze. His amber eyes matching his pelt color perfectly. No, that wasn't right? When had she noticed his eye color. She looked away, just to look back. She purred at this reaction to her words, then quickly though of a reply.
Oh, I wouldn't know. Is that why you still haven't found one? she teased, her voice sinking low again.
She lost it at the end, and started to purr so loudly that it was impossible to hide, as her voice returned to its normal pitch. Her eyes shining. She knew that he wasn't a whole lot older than herself, and they had shared a den briefly as apprentices, and now as warriors. But she had never really noticed him. Not that she didn't know who he was, everyone knew that, but to her he had just been another cat she was expected to respect and take orders from, nothing more. Not a den mate, nor a friend. Nothing more personal that another cat, one of higher rank, who was in the same clan as she. Could it ever be different? Could she ever become friends with this large, ginger tom? Her thoughts were shattered at the cry of a large bird, as it flew overhead, screeching out a warning. She jumped slightly, having not been expecting the piercing call. She scanned the area, then flicked her eyes in Luckystrike's direction, before opening her mouth the scent the air. Something had scared the bird, and as far as she knew, no other Windclan cats had been in this direction recently.
[/center][/blockquote][/blockquote] OOC: I hope this is OK, I didn't expect this post to be so long, but at the end I started to get my muse back some, and thought a little excitement might help, also if you have any ideas I'm up for them, I'm not sure where I am headed with this, it just came to mind.

Luckystrike grinned at her response that was followed by her deep purr. At least she was enjoying herself, he sniffed the air for a moment still scenting the stale Shadow clan scent from the last battle. He hated that smell and went to go scent mark over it quickly. As he finished he noticed the large bird fly of the grass till it was fly over head of them with a loud screech, the following reaction made him purr. He wanted to laugh loudly as Smokepelt jumped spooked by the birds warning to any other bird in their land. His amber eyes twinkled with amusement. "You, my friend are quite jumpy, and Perhaps I have not found a mate as I have not pursued for one. I don't feel the need to anyhow I am young... I have time."Stretching out his body making his long orange fur look glossier than ever as it exposed is broad shoulders and packed muscles. He drew back before continuing to walk about his land again. He wondered if Smokepelt knew Brooksplash, not that he had any interest in Brooksplash she was much like a sister to him. He loved the blue-gray furball even if she hated how much he looked out for her. She was too independent for her own good sometimes. He frowned a bit, maybe that was why she hadn't found a mate. He knew it hurt her she was after all four moons older than him and that was the time most cats did search for a mate. He sighed, he was most likely going to end up like that but possibly and elder. He shrugged it would be lonely for moments but not all the time especially if Brooksplash did find a mate and had kits. He could always look after them some what like an uncle would. He smirked a bit at that thought before turning his attention back to Smokepelt, he was really going to bother her now. "Besides if anything I can see you becoming the mate of Ratstar."OOC: That is fine and any idea's I will be 9.5/10 open to

.Smokepelt. [/u] She had noticed the Shadowcln scent just before the bird's frightening cry. She had instantly thought they were in danger. As she realized it was just a bird, nothing more, and also noticed Luckystrike's amusement with her reaction. Her hazel eyes met his amber eyes for a moment. Then it was over. She set about quickly licking the fur on her chest to compose herself, then walked over to join him. The pungent Shadowclan scent was stale, but still strong. It would take a long time to fully cover it up. She found a place Luckystrike had missed and started to help remark the boarder. His words drifting over her as she tried to relax. She knew it was true, though she hadn't really thought about it. She had always seen him as older, because his rank had always been higher. But really that wasn't the case. Sure he was older, but not by much, and again, there were many others in the clan who were even older who had yet to take a mate. She looked over the Shadowclan boarder, scanning for a patrol. The attack had come as a surprise to her, but knowing Shadowclan, they would want to get back at Windclan as soon as they could. Until then, all Windclan could do in keep up the patrols, and hope that they are ready when the fighting begins again. She thought about her clan mates, realizing that she hadn't gotten to know any of them very well. She would have to work on that, but for now she was getting to know Luckystrike. She had wished Ratstar had been here too, but that wasn't to be. At Luckystrike's words, she tensed. Had he really just said that!? She turned and shot a glare at him, then stakled off, tell held straight. After a few steps, she turned around, relaxing her tail as she tilted her head.
Really? she asked, then quickly added. No, of course not. she said, as she started to move back to his side.
She had never considered being Ratstar's mate. She knew him more than many of the other warriors, mostly because he had been with her as her leader. But to be his mate? What was it like to be the mate of a clan leader? No, she could never see him like that. He was her leader. Plus, like Luckystrike said, she wasn't ready to take a mate. She was younger than even him, having just recently gotten her warrior name.
Do you think they will be back? she asked, forcing her thought onto something useful.
She looked out over the Shadowclan side of the boarder, hoping her feelings of dread as she remembered the battle were nothing but a memory.

The orange tom cat frowned when she shot him a evil glare. He was only joking hopefully she wouldn't take it to personal. He watched as she walked away her gray fur shining against the sun, her tail held high as if she was a queen. Smokepelt was pretty there was no doubt but some what naive, and it made him wonder a bit for her in the future. Hopefully she would out grow it, he didn't want any selfish tom cat in his clan to take advantage of her naive nature and hurt the friendly, bubbly she-cat. He hoped there was never a day he would have to see those hazel eyes shed a tear rather that sparkle with amusement. It was weird how he thought of this but Luckystrike was protective of everyone in his clan. He wanted nothing bad to happen to them, he just wanted everyone to be at peace. When she whipped around asking him a question with hop in her voice cocked his head. Had he struck gold in the mine? She seemed to be interested in Ratstar or maybe the fact that he could see it. It was confusing, as all she-cat were to him. But almost as soon as it started she abruptly ended it, dismissing it before he could response. This she-cat cat changed like the wind almost or maybe that was just on certain subjects? He wondered why she was so touchy on talking about mates, ah no matter it wasn't a need to know.
When the gray she-cat spoke on Shadowclan his attention flicked from her to the border between Shadowclan and his own. He looked almost as if searching for a Shadowclan cat. But no need to look for a fight when there wasn't one. His amber eyes flickered back to her's watching her for a moment. She seem to be trying hard not to look him in the eye for whatever reason. He shrugged at it mentally before speaking to her.
"Knowing Shadowclan they will be back but not too soon. Moonstar is planning something I can sense it and it involves messing with all clans including his own...but of course we'll have everyone ready by then a hopefully it won't come for several moons."
He was worried about Shadowclan attacking again he wasn't sure if most of his own clan-mates were ready for that. Ratstar seem to be slacking on getting everyone in order and it left all the weight on the orange tom. His tail flicked with his thoughts as they kept changing, with each one it opened another door to another possibility. He didn't want to be leader not yet, he need several more moons first.

.Smokepelt. [/u] When she had walked away, she had just been teasing Luckystrike, but she could tell by his reaction that he had believed it. Oops, oh well. She would just have to be more careful about that. Although the bird had upset her, his words had helped calm her. She had just acted offended, because she didn't want him to see her surprise. She hoped that they could be friends, Luckystrike and herself, and even Ratstar, but she knew that they saw her as naive, and immature. Which, most of the time, was likely true. Although she could be mature and serious if needed, it wasn't in her nature to be that way all the time. She changed the subject, growing uncomfortable about the topic of a mate, even more so with a cat she wasn't used to talking to. As she looked over the Shadowclan boarder, and spoke, dread entered her mind as she waited for his answer. She looked back at her deputy, though refused to meet his eyes. She took a deep breath, and sighed as he spoke.
Yes, I though that too. I just needed to hear another say it, though I feared to. Will we be... ready? and asked. Sure he had just said it, but even as he tried to convince her, he seemed to doubt his own words. I mean, are you sure? With Ratstar seeming to act like everything is fine? she asked, then turned away. How dare she question her leader, especially out in the open. Made worse, she spoke out to Luckystrike, the clan's deputy. She knew he should punish her for this, and is wouldn't surprise her if she was asked to do the apprentice jobs of helping around the camp. How she hated those jobs, the mere thought disturbing. She knew what she must do, but she still hoped to hear his answer, his opinion of the matter. She slowly turned back to face Luckystrike. I am truly sorry, I should not have said that. she spoke quietly as she looked at him, giving her apology. She stayed still, watching the orange striped tom, unsure about how he would react. Then another thought hit her. If he was the clan's deputy, and their leader refused to care for the clan's safety, it would fall to him. Without help, it would be impossible for one cat to do alone, especially one so young. He was older than her, but still young. She wondered what he thought about this too, and decided if he would allow her, she would be there to help in any way he needed. She might not be able to do much for the clan, but she could still do her part.

The tom was now generally confused, it didn't surprise him but he despised be confused with a deep passion. He cocked his head at her listen to her words. So she was thinking the same thing he was, how would they survive if there leader was being so relaxed at such a time. Maybe there had been a reason behind it all of them missed, he wasn't sure and he didn't like it at all. When she whipped around almost as if she were scowling or talking to herself in private. Probably both knowing this she-cat, it made him slightly annoyed a bit she was being so professional around him. But that happened so often he just let it go. Everyone saw him as the serious down to business cat, they always had straighten up their act when he came around. It was like the feared him, he didn't understand it, with a sigh he let it blow over him as if he didn't notice it. As Smokepelt faced him once more apologizing he didn't even want to speak nor say much. They made him seem as if they couldn't have their own opinion about another cat when he was around.
"I don't only see the world in black and white as you cat's may think. I can see the deep shades of gray that lies in between."
He spoke with an even tone followed by a stone tight gaze, he whirled around and began to walk away.Luckystrike just wanted to get the patrol over now, his fur bristled a bit not that she had spoke out against her leader but for reasons she probably would never figure out unless he spoke on it. He wasn't going to speak on it, every cat took him and his presence to seriously. If they wanted him to act that way then he would, but it wasn't in him to keep up that act for so long so he snorted with aggravation. Perhaps that was the real reason he knew he wasn't going to find a mate, and the reason he hadn't searched for one. Usually cats have a mate before 28 moons, they usually claim at mate as 25 moons or claim a crush. He only had four moons and the moons went by faster than he could even think off. He shrugged it off and began to continue there patrol.

.Smokepelt. [/u] Smokepelt quickly spoke her apology. His reaction was unexpected. He seemed upset. At first she thought it must have been due to her outburst, but no. She hadn't seen the change until after she apologized. What did she do? What had she said? She sighed, then hurried to follow Luckystrike, keeping a safe distance between herself and the tom. What now? She wasn't doing herself any good, and how could they become friends if this always happened? Plus, how was she going to help, if she was part of the problem? Impossible, that's how. She couldn't help, not until she helped fix her own problems.
I... she stopped. Her first instinct had been to apologize, but no, that was what she had done to cause this mess. Second, she wanted to be mad at him, but no, that wouldn't work either.
Just then she notices a rabbit, checking that they were down wind, and the rabbit had no knowledge of them, she looked over at Luckystrike. A change of plans came over her. Race you. she whispered, lowering herself slightly, to move closer before she was forced to either pounce or give chase. She hoped that this would put him in a better mood. She had no idea how he would react, but she had to try. It was her place to make things right again, and she had to do it before they returned to camp. If he made it back before she gained forgiveness, she had no doubt that she would have a hard time getting the chance to arise again, and he didn't need her to be a problem, not now. Not ever.

The ginger tom ears twitched at the sound of her start of a reply, but when it suddenly stopped his ears flicked back forward. His body still bristled a bit, he was an outcast in a way other cats didn't even see. He was the deputy but he had no friends, if you didn't count friendly Brooksplash. It was hard enough people thought he only saw things one way when actually he was more open minded than them. The only reason he didn't show it because it was never the right time for it. He had to face the fact he wasn't a complete goof ball or friendly person everyone either thought he was too serious or in fact anti-social. He had heard a few cats question Brooksplash on why he was "anti-social" as they called it. What he called it was stating the truth or his opinion and most apparently didn't like the truth or his opinion. It made he wonder why they even asked. He shook his head before he whisked around to face Smokepelt who had finally spoke.
Luckystrike wasn't a cat to stay mad long, so when the gray cat asked him to race for the rabbit his legs were already outstretched in a full stride. The startled rabbit didn't know what to do, it just squirmed down to the ground almost as if it was trying to bury itself in the ground. By his second stride he was just over the cream rabbit that quaked in fear of seeing him. But this was too easy he let out a small snarl nipping at its ears before he let it take off into a sprint. He didn't even look for Smokepelt as now the chase was on. His long legs took action again chasing after the fleeing rabbit again.

.Smokepelt. [/u] She smirked to herself as she took off after the rabbit. She kept pace with Luckystrike, her small, slender build allowing her to keep pace with his larger, stronger build. She ran parallel to their prey. Then she allowed him to reach the rabbit. Seeing his nip the rabbit's cream colored velvety ears, she took off again, still matching his pace. Then, as they neared the rabbit again, she took the lead, and gave a quick pouncing slide, and pinned the rabbit between her paws. She could tell that Luckystrike was close to her. She didn't take the time to look up, and instead gave the finishing bite to the rabbit's neck. It was a mercy, as they had nearly killed the rabbit of fright, running their prey so far. Had it worked? Had she gained his approval again? Or did she have more work to do? She wasn't sure, but she knew she was hungry, and guessed he would be needing to eat soon. She pushed the dead rabbit in his direction, and looked up at him again.
Nice hunting. Will you share with me? she asked, praying to Starclan that she didn't ask the wrong thing. All she needed was to set him off again.
The weather was nice, the day bright and clear. Lazy, fluffy white clouds floated by, giving just enough balance between light and shade. A gentle breeze picked up, adding to the comfortable weather. The day was almost perfect, but with the threat of an attack hanging over their heads, perfect wasn't possible. Still, it was nice to get to enjoy life for a short while. She still wondered why Ratstar had chosen to stay behind at the last moment, and again why he had refused to do anything about, or even mention, what had happened with Shadowclan. She wanted to know, to be brave enough to confront him and ask, but it wasn't her place, and she didn't have that kind of courage. Not now, not ever, or at least she didn't think so. But help, yes, she could help, if only she knew how. What should she do? How, and who, should she help? That was what she had to find out.

The ginger tom, watched as she leaped forward and her claws hooked onto the poor rabbits hindquarters. He skidded halted before he could crash into her completely, he was confused on her gesture but he didn't deny it. He was hungry a bit, he shook his head for a moment pushing it back to her as he explained.
"You killed it you take your fill first."
Luckystrike was polite by nature and he showed it when he felt, and now was the right time. He had always respected she-cats even if they did get under his fur like the others. Besides the fact he lived by a self taught rule of it you caught it then you get first fill, but that only applied in situations like this. Even as she looked at him it seemed she was thinking on something much deeper. Probably because he had snapped at her earlier he didn't feel bad but he knew she was confused on why he had. Then again no ever knew how he felt so it was a first. He rested his tail on her shoulder, getting her attention.
"I was not mad at you before for the question but of how you acted...."
He paused trying to figure how he would tell her things he didn't like sharing to others. But he felt bad enough he had clearly either frighten her or hurt her feelings. Luckystrike despised being the bad guy.
"I am not one the clan see's to have many personalities. They just think I can only be serious, which is like I said basically black and white. They think I only see right and wrong. That I can't make a pass over on things which would represent the grey. You were acting like them and I lashed out. My deep apologies for it."
As always when he was being nice his voice was soft and the yellow eyes of his sincere. He didn't know what she would think of him, probably stupid or weird. He didn't know to be honest he didn't care much but it did help him to get that bit off his chest as it was the main thing bothering him completely. He removed his tail from her shoulder and sat down watching the cream rabbit instead of the gray she-cat before him.

.Smokepelt. [/u] She nodded as he returned the cream colored rabbit. She knew of this custom, and would have normally used it, but he had caught the rabbit first, and she wanted to be nice. She gracefully bent her head and took a bite. Then she looked up at Luckystrike when he gently rested his tail tip on her shoulder. She wasn't sure about his words, but as he went on, she began to see what he had meant.
I didn't mean to offend you. I just didn't want you to think badly of me, or question by loyalty to Windclan because of my words. she said. She thought back to her words, she could see why he might take offense.
She didn't meant it that way, but he had no way to know that. She was glad that he was willing to speak to her again, and that he seemed to be in a better mood. The hunt had worked. She took a few more bites of the rabbit, eating some of the best parts, but saving some for Luckystrike. As she finished her share of the rabbit, she pushed the cream colored rabbit back to Luckystrike. She stepped back, then sitting down, she started to groom the fur and gore of her prey from her face and paws. It didn't take long, as she had always been careful about making as little mess as possible when eating. Then she waited patiently for him to finish.

Luckystrike finished off the rabbit in three swift bites before he took in the she-cat words fully. He sat down and began to clean himself, he didn't like to speak in between licks it made him upset. But didn't take long to finish looking back up at the Smokepelt he consulted on his response.
"I would not question your loyalty until you have mated with out medicine cat or perhaps with someone out of our clan. I doubt you have done that seeing how you like to speak in a deep voice and that is highly unattractive I must say, even if you are pretty the voice abolishes it."
He replied with quick smirk, he was back to the part of him he was attempting to be before. He flicked her tail waiting for her witty response as he knew it would come. She was a bright cat so there was no doubt she would be a smart Alec with her response or worse cuff him over the ear. He smiled at the thought if she did cuff him he would definitely whoop her tail in a play fight.

.Smokepelt. [/u] Smokepelt finished grooming just at Luckystrike finished. She had been trying to seem patient and respectful, though didn't really know how to do that. So she had taken longer than usual to clean out her gray fur. When he spoke she looked up. Her eyes meeting his, hazel to amber.
No, you are right. I have not. she said, making sure she used her normal, more feminine voice..
She stopped, thinking of what to say next. She had not missed that he had given her a complement, but had also negated it. She wanted to cuff his on the eat, then hesitated, he was larger than her, and even in a play fight, it wouldn't be fair, but still. She was unable to resist any longer.
Although I did do this. she calls out, giggling as she playfully cuffs his ginger ear. Her hazel eyes shining with mirth. She jumped back, hoping to dodge any move he might make, but she didn't go far, as if daring him to follow.

Although I did do this, he was about to ask what but that was before his ear was snagged by her paw leaving the left one vibrating from the impact of her paw on his ear. He looked back up just barely cat noticing she had jumped back. She moved a bit farther but looked over her shoulder as if tempting him to come after her. He smiled thinking on how he should go after her, chasing her wouldn’t be as fun as just getting right to the close combat beside; he knew she wouldn’t mind it.
"And I did this."
Luckystrike chuckled before he lunged at her, paws outstretched sheathed. The gleam in his amber eyes told anyone who didn’t understand what was going on that he was playing. His paws gripped her shoulder pulling her along with him forcing them to roll through the tall grass. A small smile a prenatally attached to his face as they rolled. He inhaled her scent through his nostrils closing his eyes for a moment, she smelt like Jasmine a flower hidden among the long grass that the two cats currently tossed and turned in. Well wasn’t that something different than he had inhaled before, he wondered if every she-cat smelt like this and he had just never noticed it.

.Smokepelt. [/u] Smokepelt expected his reaction. She turned, trying to dodge, but wasn't quick enough. His large paws caught her shoulders, and his momentum caused her to roll in his grip. As they stopped, she purred, turning to face him. Her emerald eyes watching his amber eyes. She breathed in, catching his scent in her nose. He had an earthy, musty smell, much like dried grass. It had a calming effect on her, allowing her to feel comfortable. She smiled at him, then slipped out of his paws. She stood still a moment, her tail twitching, as she watched him. Her eyes sparkling. The warm sun beating down on them. The tall grasses offering their shelter, but they swayed in the gentle breath of the light breeze.

Luckystrike was startled when she slipped away before he could claim he had won. He was about to lunge for her again, when the sparkle in her yellow eyes froze him. That was a weird look, where had he seen a look like that before? He just admired her eyes unaware of his facial expression that showed how fascinated he was. He wondered how she-cats pulled such an alluring look like that off, it made his fur feel funny and his mind joggle. He didn’t know what do; just like that his mind went blank so he sat confused with himself. His amber eyes fell from her face to his large ginger paws in wonderment. What did this mean…nothing or something? He hoped for nothing but it didn’t feel like nothing, he pushed the thought somewhat away looking back up at her as he spoke a bit childishly, or for him at least.
“You cheated...”
He didn’t know what he meant by those two simple words but he had said it; he figured he’d have to hell to pay because he had. This made him laugh a bit inside but that was fine, he liked being around Smokepelt now she seem to a friend him had now. That was good or at least for him it was, it was major progress out of his usual “serious state.” Maybe she would get others to think differently of him after all even senior warriors seem to like her, he had to admit thought she was a pleasant cat.

.Smokepelt. [/u] As she stood there watching, she saw a change come over him. She wasn't sure what had happened, just that something had. Then when he shifted his eyes down to his paws, she had a pretty good idea what had happened. She didn't know how or why, or even what for sure, but she had changed something. At least now she was pretty sure they were friends, and that made her happier than anything else could have. At his words, she smiles sweetly, truly happy now. Not because of his words, but because of the timid, kit like voice that spoke them. She knew that to be completely unlike Luckystrike, and knew that if she were to tell, no other cat would believe it, though she would never do that. She purred loudly, her eyes still shiny, now showing her joy as well.
Did I? she asked in a shocked innocent voice.
Just then she leaped forward, knocking him back to the ground. She made sure that they landed softly, then she looked down at him. She had now pinned him to the ground beneath her, but she knew it wouldn't last, he was mush larger, and stronger, than she was. His face reflected his surprise, mixed with his former confusion, made for a humorous combination. She tried to keep from it, but was unable to hold in her laugh. Just then she heard a noise, and quickly looked up. Scenting the air, she tensed. She quickly looked down at Luckystrike again, then back to where the scent came from. She didn't know why this very scent caused that reaction, but she felt like she had done something wrong. She felt like the kit who had wandered out of the camp. For Ratstar had arrived.

Luckystrike watched her expression filled with a gleaming delight, he let a small smile hit his lips as she spoke. It amused him even more as she used an innocent voice almost as if mocking his voice earlier. He let out chuckle about to make a smart reply when she slammed into him, and pinned him. He was all the while confused, but generally pleased, now she really had cheated. When she let out a laugh he felt his nerves jolt what a sound it was, much like a kits but with a sweet mixture of a mothers tone. His amber eyes was glued to her whole face, he couldn’t find a reason to look away till she went ridge against him. Observing as her ears flicked and her pink nostrils inhaling deeply he did the same and froze. He looked over to find Ratstar approaching; his body went ridge as well for a moment before he pushed her off of him and practically leaped to his paws. His ginger fur felt like it was on fire and not with a pleasant sensation. He took a few steps away from the ash colored she-cat before addressing his leader.
“Ratstar, I apologize for the foolishness at hand. I became mildly distracted it won’t happen again.”
His normal abyssal even tone returned as he spoke. His eyes glued to his leaders face as he fought the urge to look at Smokepelt. Just great he had just made a friend for once and now it was snatched away. He didn’t even want to see her expression as he feared it would be as dreadful as his. He immediately expected his leader to highly disappoint in him; he had never goofed off like that EVER. He let out a small sigh only he could hear as he waited for his leaders reply.
